Priestess of Seiryuu: Yui Hongo Contemplating

My dream cosplay photoshoot was finally done!

I am a big fan of Fushigi Yuugi and ever since I started cosplaying, I wanted to have a cosplay photoshoot of it. Unlike in other old school animes, I have many favorite characters in Fushigi Yuugi. One of them is Yui Hongo.

While others hate her, I like her in a way that she is just like any normal person who has trust issues and is confused in a world she doesn't know. Just like her, I also experienced being betrayed by a close friend and didn't know who to trust. At the time FY was shown here in the Philippines, I was confused as to who to trust because my group of friends in the first and second year weren't as good as those I had in my 3rd and 4th year. So while fans are hating her, I sort of can relate to Yui. That's why when my friends were suggesting I cosplay her in our FY shoot, I said yes. Aside from the short skirt that I was not used to wearing, I am happy to have cosplayed her

And besides, I was happy cosplaying both her normal and bitchy sides XD
